Our Dancing Nature - Movement and Improvisation Outside

Spring is here and is calling us outside! Life is happening all around us, exploding, bursting or gently coming about. Our surrounding is changing, new smells are arising and our body is invited to join –

So I would like to invite you. Invite you to come with me outside and fully experience what nature can give to us. Let us move with this movement of life! Let us dance with the trees, sing with the wind, feel the grass under our feet and smell the earth sprouting out life.

What better way is there to experience life than in a place where life is flourishing and unfolding?

We will begin with a mindful walk, opening up our senses, connecting to our own bodies and the life around us.
From there on we will explore the different possibilities to relate to our surrounding. With somatic based improvisational games we will find inspiration, discovering how we can connect and absorb the creation around us and transform it into movement, sound and text.
We will discover or rediscover our own improvisational language, allowing us to communicate and express more freely.
There will be a lot of time for free exploration, so we can fully enjoy the process, deeply connect and
experiencing how we truly are a part of this beautiful nature.


We will be in the beautiful forest Bornia. The nearest train station is Driebergen / Zeist from there it's about 5-10 minute bike ride (there are OV bikes at the station) or 20-25 minutes walking. It is also easily accessible with the car. I will send the exact location around shortly before the event.

Please bring your own food and drink with you, we will have a lunch break.


Every body is welcome, no prior dance / improvisation experience is needed. I will offer this exploration on two consecutive Saturdays (25.05 / 01.06) Joining both allows a more extensive exploration, but it is also possible to only join one of them.
