MOOHA - Ecstatic Dance - Dragon's Dance

Little Introduction:

We as mooha are a group of four musicians/artists and very inspired by the magic that is involved with intuitive movement and sound. Together we hold a space of non-judgement and invite everyone to let out their most pure and authentic self. The concept of ecstatic dance is growing bigger and getting more well known across our planet, and we are excited to share our own unique take on it. During the event we play live and mostly intuitive music, which contains various instruments and will be supported by singing and spoken word. Next to our live music we have a dj set filled with songs from other inspiring artists.

What is Ecstatic Dance?

Ecstatic dance is all about finding back your inner flow. To be guided by your intuition & let your body move by itself while it communicates with the music. Through following the guidance, you can experience many emotions. Usually you will leave the event feeling energized and excited because of the release that your body so needed! Sometimes other emotions come out and also wanted to be seen, so in that sense, it is as powerful and valuable as the other emotions.

Grounding Rules within Ecstatic Dance:

-We dance on bare feet (or socks if you prefer), you can leave shoes and other belongings by the entrance
-We don't talk during the event. When you arrive you can leave your stuff at the entrance and already go into the dancing area in silence. This rule is there to create deeper inner connection, and to stay closer to your own energy.
-We don't allow drugs or other sedatives, during the event. Through the dancing you can reach a natural state of being high on life, and it's the best, we promise!

Time of event:

-Doors will open from 14:00
-Start ceremony is at 14:30 (doors will close then)
-The dance is from 15:00 til 17:00
-Around 17:00 we hold a closing circle
-Afterwards there is also some space to connect to other dancers

Other important information:

-There will be water and tea available, so no need to bring any! But if you want to bring your own bottle, ofcourse feel free!
-There are parking spots available in front of the venue, and in the same street. They are limited, and when full you can park one street away behind the roundabout.
