Spring Equinox Ceremony: Cacao & Fire Ritual to Let Go and Envision

Spring Equinox – this is where the year officially begins according to astrology.

We are coming out of the slow and reflective winter season, transitioning into uplifting and inspiring season of spring. The change of the astrological year can be a powerful moment for transformation. By taking time to reflect on the past yearly cycle – the lessons and the learnings – we can become clear of what needs to be let go of and what to call into our life to support our soul’s journey. Spring is the time to birth aspiring projects into life, put plans into action and get your spirit uplifted by the increasing amount of day light.

In this ceremony that combines cacao and a powerful fire ritual we will use the momentum of the Spring Equinox for introspection and envisioning. We will emerge with the energy of spring to move forward, connect with the compassionate spirit of Mother Cacao to unite us with our heart’s desires, and use the power of the spirit of Fire to burn down any obstacles that stand in our way.

Fire is a powerful nature element that represents our connection with the sun. It helps us to connect to our personal power. Throughout the world, people have been gathering around fire for different purposes since we can remember. Especially the Aztecs in Central America are known for having worked closely with fire. A fire ceremony can serve as rite of passage – a bridge between the old and the new. That makes the beginning of a new astrological year the perfect time to perform a fire ritual.

Your hosts

We are Iina and Titta, two Finnish women who share the passion for helping people to live more from their hearts. We started hosting cacao ceremonies two years ago. Our circles have since evolved into deep inner journeys where we combine cacao with different elements like movement and energy healing – wholesome experiences where the participants are invited to connect with themselves and others on a deeper level.

Iina is a cacao mystic, and a dancer with over 20 years of experience. She loves to infuse our ceremonies with intuitive movement and dance to connect with the body, listen to its messages and express what’s alive within.

Titta is a yoga teacher, intuitive and energy healer. She’s passionate about weaving together the wisdom of the body and energy medicine. She likes to incorporate healing sessions and guided meditation journeys into our ceremonies to help you find more balance and peace.

The event will take place at a private location in Amsterdam West.
