Mapacho manifestation ritual & guided shamanic vision quest
Do you have a question for which you seek clarity? Do you wish to birth something new and precious into the world? What are you blind to? What insights do you need in order to move yourself into alignment?
Together we will work with Mapacho and activating sound to open a shamanic portal through which to bring insight and clarity to the questions we ask and to manifest the immaterial into material reality.
In the Shipibo shamanic tradition, Mapacho is used to improve our powers of intuition and our ability to actualize into the world our intentions. Mapacho grounds and brings us back to the body, to the earth. It enables the busy mind to become silent and the third eye and the heart to open and listen. Shamanic sound journeys guide you through the otherworld so that you can gain the wisdom & messages from your higher self, spirit team, and body wisdom. By combining shamanic vision quest and Mapacho we are able to journey deeply into the intuitive realms and to manifest the immaterial into material reality.
This ritual is for those who wish to meet Father Mapacho with respect, warmth and kindness, to make space to listen and align, to engage in an act of creation and to understand deeply the answer to a question.

The ceremony will entail:
- A smoke ritual: we will let go of what no longer serves us using Mapacho smoke that will clear our channels and create space for our deeper truth to rise
- A liquid Mapacho ritual: with deep respect and clarity, you will be invited to share your questions and intentions. You will invite in the sacred spirit of Mapacho to work with your body wisdom and enable you to listen deeply to both spirits & your inner guidance
- A Shamanic Vision Quest: a guided journey into the spirit world where you will have a dialogue with the spirit of Mapacho to gain important insights that are essential to remain in soul alignment and to receive answers & guidance to help you move towards that which you wish to manifest

Our culture emphasizes 'thinking as knowing'. Often we find ourselves surrounded by an ongoing flood of artificial stimulation which results in many of us struggling to access the vast network of knowledge, memory and wisdom that exists outside the individual, indeed, outside of the human mind. It is for this reason that undertaking a guided shamanic journey whilst connecting deeply with the spirit of Mapacho is particularly powerful for those of us who wish to develop our intuition and ability to create wisely and with meaning.
THE LIQUID MAPACHO RITUAL
Liquid mapacho is taken in the nose. The ritual of inhaling the liquid made of mapacho has been transmitted from generation to generation in the Shipibo culture. Traditionally, this ritual is performed in every household and used especially with children to ensure they grow strong and healthy, be active and dynamic, and develop intelligence and concentration. It is used to improve the ability to see and translate 'codes' ('kené') into visual designs and by shamans to treat diseases such as depression, stress, various emotional conditions, sinusitis and insomnia. Importantly, liquid mapacho opens the mind and strengthens intuition.
THE SMOKE RITUAL
Smoke plays a very important role in the world of shamanism and is considered a medicine in itself. Mapacho smoke is important both for the shaman and for the participant in any shamanic ceremony. First, Mapacho smoke is blown throughout and around the space or area in which it is to be performed in order to deter bad spirits from approaching. Mapacho smoke is then blown over the head, hands and whole body which helps to both cleanse and protect the physical and energetic systems and to attract the good spirits, who, shamans insist, have an almost insatiable desire for mapacho.
SHAMANIC VISION QUEST
Working with the mappacho medicine we will take you on a shamanic vision quest deep into the unconscious realms. For this specific journey, we will dive into the heart. We will address & alchemize the shadows within our hearts that prevent us from opening up to receive unconditional love. MORE INFORMATION Mapacho is unique to the Amazon rainforest. It is not Nicotiana tobacco, the variety of tobacco that is used in the production of all commercial cigarettes. It contains up to 18% nicotine and no tar. All smoking-related diseases have been ascribed to the action of carcinogenic tars or the plethora of chemical additives used in Western cigarette production.
FACILITATORS
Wave spent months in the Lareto region of the Amazon rainforest learning from Maestro Heberto Garcia, who is the grandson of Yoshi Ocha who is widely considered to have been the last of the Merayas. During his time in the jungle Wave connected deeply with Mappacho and has felt called to bring this grounding spirit to the Netherlands. Wave has years of experience in several healing modalities from both Western and Non-Western traditions such as CBT, EMDR, NVC, Zen Buddism (Thich Nhat Hanh), Dearmouring (Gaia Method) and extensive tantric training with both Alan Lowen (Art Of Being) and Pema (Wild Tantra). He is a writer, facilitator and activist.
Emily (birth name) & Maia (spirit name) are trained in shamanism, tantra, temple arts, feminine facilitation, & sexual facilitation. She is a Goddess Activator, which means she is here to help the divine feminine rise within your body through various medicines (dance, sound, ceremonies, sexual expression). Having trained & studied in various places all over the world as well as facilitated internationally, Maia's mission is to restore and balance the Goddess within our bodies as well as on the planet. Working closely with the holy Mother Earth, she is here to not be your guru or healer but to empower you to listen to your own body's wisdom & take ownership of your magic & power. She is here to help bring you back into your body and build your own relationship with Mother Earth. Her two focuses centre around shadow & dark-feminine work as well as sexuality.
