This summer I am hosting two Connected Breathwork Circles in the National Park "Kennemerduinen". Why? Just because the dunes are the most beautiful place to connect to nature, yourself and others!
So, are you also curious what Breathwork can do for you? Do you long for more connection to your body and feelings? And for more space in your breath, body and life? Peace in body, mind and heart? Or simply want to maintain and deepen your Breathwork? Well, then it would be lovely to meet you here!
🌬️ WHAT WILL WE DO?
We will meet up at the entrance of the National Park Kennemerduinen (more info to follow once you signed up). From there we walk to a beautiful dune spot (max 15min walk). Once there, we will take the time to connect to our body through meditation, breathing exercises, and/or body-oriented exercises suiting the moment. Together, we create a comfortable space to breathe. After, we will start the Conscious Connected Breathwork. We “simply” connect our inhalation and exhalation, initiating an energy flow within our bodies. By breathing actively in and relaxed out through the mouth, we make room for what those parts of ourselves that we hold on to. Following the active breathing part, we take time for relaxation and integration. At the end, we take a moment to land and, when it feels right, to share while enjoying a cup of tea and some treats.
🌬️ CONSIOUS CONNECTED BREATHWORK?
Your breathing pattern reflects what is within you. During the Breathwork Circles, you connect with your breath and make contact with those parts of yourself that deserve acknowledgment. You become aware of old pieces within yourself that may revolve around themes such as anger, sadness, pain, loneliness, shame, and guilt, emotions you might not have been allowed to feel or experience, causing them get stuck. I will invite you to stay connected to your breath, be present and relaxed, so that energy can start flowing in those places again. Here, you create space and open your respiratory system. 🌈 SO, WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
• A welcoming and safe space in one of the most beautiful national parks of the Netherlands
• Exercises to become aware of your breath in the moment and to connect with yourself and other participants
• Consious Connected Breathwork; an active session of 35-45 minutes and 20-30 minutes for relaxation & integration
• Tea, snacks and time to share in words or simply being silent together
📅 WHEN AND WHERE?
We will meet at the “Duincafé” at the entrance of the National Park “Kennemerduinen” (exact location will follow in the confirmation email). In case the weather doesn’t suit us, I have a beautiful back-up space a 10 min cycle from Haarlem Central Train station.
🌟 EVERYONE IS WELCOME
Whether you are a beginner or have experience with Connected Breathwork. I am here to guide you in your session.
🌿 PREPARATION:
• Wear comfortable clothing, preferably without zippers and buttons;
• Bring your own sheet to lie on and blanked (you can make a meditation cushion from the sand);
• Avoid eating too much or heavily just before;
• If you have epilepsy, glaucoma, heart issues, or psychological problems/trauma, currently or in the past, or if you are pregnant, please inform us beforehand.
