During this gathering we will delve into the timeless tradition of Vedic new moon rituals, invoking the blessings of celestial forces and harmonising with the primordial energies that permeate the universe. Through sacred chants, offerings, and meditation, we will attune ourselves to the subtle vibrations of the new moon, harnessing its potent energy for inner transformation and spiritual renewal.

Guided by our traditional Hindu guest-teachers we will dive into the wisdom of ancient sages. Participants will partake in purification rituals to cleanse the mind, body, and spirit. With reverence and devotion, we will offer sacred oblations to the sacred fire, invoking the blessings of the gods and goddesses who preside over the lunar cycle.

As the veil between worlds grows thin, we will enter into a state of deep meditation, communing with the divine within and setting intentions for the lunar cycle ahead. Through introspection and reflection, we will plant the seeds of our desires, nurturing them with the fertile energy of the new moon's darkness.

As our teachers from Varanasi have a highly educated musical background, traditional ritualistic Indian music and chanting will be interwoven trough this very special evening.

This sacred gathering is open to all seekers of truth and wisdom, regardless of background or experience. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or new to the path, come with an open heart and a spirit of reverence as we journey together into the mystical realm of Vedic ritual and ceremony.

Dress comfortably, and try to wear white colours, if possible in Indian Style.
Bath/ shower before you come to the gathering, wear clean clothes.

As Menstruation in Vedic tradition is a moment to drawn inwards, reflect and connect to the element of water. A ceremony, especially the fire ceremony, is not (traditionally) suitable whilst having your period. Because this is a new moon ceremony, the quality of the ceremony suits your energy during menstruation better. But we don't advise to join the fire ceremony, you can stay inside and relax and integrate by yourself, or with other women. If you sign in and your period shows up, and you want to draw inside at your home setting, then we will refund your entrance fee. With that you will receive some Vedic guidelines to deepen your menstruation retreat.
