For who is this event?

This event is for everyone who is keen to meet new people in a fun way.

Having many mirrors in a short period of time can bring new insights on what we are looking for, feel attracted to, (don't) desire and how our nervous system responds to different people.

The set up is that you will be mainly matched with different-sex people. The intent here is not purely romantic, though it surely can be. When we are truly open to meet another human, unforeseen magic can happen!


What are we going to do?

At 3 pm we gather, together we land into this new environment and group. There is a short introduction and an opportunity for you to order some nice drinks. You will be gifted some Mahara Love in the form of a delicious home made chocolate.

When everyone is ready, the women are asked to find a nice place for themselves to nest into. The men will sit opposite of the women and for the first minute, there is nothing else to do then to be. This is the slowed down part of the speed date.
In these moments you are invited to experience yourself in this new constellation without any words. This is a time to check in with yourself, with your breath.. what do I feel here? What am I curious about? What do I fear? Do I dare to look this person in the eye? Do I feel shy? Can I give myself permission to do and be whatever I want right now? To truly be me?

After a while the bell will ring and the Play can begin. The men carry a sheet full of fun prompts, to get to know eachother in creative, funny and meaningful ways.

When the bell rings again the man will rotate through the space to meet the next person.

At the end of the event everyone hands a paper to Eva, the organizer, with the names of the people they would like to meet again.

If there is a match, Eva will let you know the next day!

The intend of this event is to explore pleasure, courage, connection and reflection.

Who is the organizer?

Eva is a birth doula, horsebackrider, moondancer, worldtraveler and spaceholder for events and circles!

''I notice that Holland is not the easiest place to meet loads of new people. Sometimes I really feel flirty or open but then I notice that most people don't really look me in the eye! Online dating is not my style, I find it important to feel the subtle energies of the moment, together!

That is why I organize this event, in our beloved Mahara.
