MOTHER Healing Circle: An Inner Journey to Heal the Mother Wound

The relationship with our mother can be the most beautiful one yet at the same time evoke challenging and painful emotions. We will use the momentum of the International Mother’s Day to appreciate the relationship and connection with our mother (or a mother figure in our lives), but also to explore any wounded aspects of it.

We at Soulsome Cacao believe that a mother wound is one of the most important wounds to recognise and look at deeply as a woman in this day and age. Why is that? Because regardless of our background and childhood, mother wounds show up in our ways of connecting with the feminine inside and outside of us.

In this healing circle we will talk and unpack the topic of the mother wound and the different ways it shows up in our lives and take time to reflect and share our experiences. After we will start an intuitive journey by first connecting with the deeply caring guidance of the feminine plant medicine Cacao. We will also tune into the nurturing and loving spirit of Rose and the healing qualities of the element of water. Our journey continues to an exploration of our inner mother-child dynamic with a guided dance, and we will finish off with a powerful shamanic meditation and embodiment journey to dive into the topic even deeper and gain intuitive insights.

Note: These wounds usually run deep and carry pain from the earliest stages of our current life – sometimes from past lives, too. Therefore, they can not be fully resolved in one session. Healing takes time, and it's not a linear journey. Without creating grand expectations, we offer you a safe, soft, and nurturing environment and intuitive practices to explore your relationship with your (inner) mother. You will gain valuable knowledge and understanding around the topic and issues you might have carried in your heart for a long time, and hopefully, after the evening you will feel a little more compassion towards your mother or, at least, towards yourself.


Your hosts

We are Iina and Titta, two Finnish women who share the passion for helping people to live more from their hearts. We started hosting cacao ceremonies two years ago. Our circles have since evolved into deep inner journeys where we combine cacao with different elements like movement and energy healing – wholesome experiences where the participants are invited to connect with themselves and others on a deeper level.

Iina is a cacao mystic, and a dancer with over 20 years of experience. She loves to infuse our ceremonies with intuitive movement and dance to connect with the body, listen to its messages and express what’s alive within.

Titta is a yoga teacher, intuitive and energy healer. She’s passionate about weaving together the wisdom of the body and energy medicine. She likes to incorporate healing sessions and guided meditation journeys into our ceremonies to help you find more balance and peace.

This event is women's only.

Please note that cacao is not recommended for people with heart issues or people on an antidepressant medication. In cases of pregnancy, we recommend a smaller dose of cacao, so please inform us so we can prepare accordingly.

The event will take place at a private location in Amsterdam West.
