Full Moon & Vedic Ceremony | A Night of Spiritual Radiance

Join us for a sacred journey under the luminous glow of the full moon on this full moon’s evening. This evening the sun sets at 21:26 in Groningen. We will gather to immerse ourselves in the divine energy of this celestial event.

MEDITATION:
We will start this evening with getting ourselves purified by meditation. Experience inner tranquility and spiritual elevation through guided meditation. Connect with the cosmic energies and find solace under the gentle gaze of the full moon.

PUJA | PRAYER RITUAL:
Begin the evening by participating in a traditional puja ceremony dedicated to Chandra, the goddess of the moon. Offer your prayers with flowers, incense, and the warmth of your devotion.

MANTRA RECITATION:
Chant Vedic mantras to invoke positive vibrations and invite blessings into your life. Join the collective energy as we resonate with the ancient sounds that resonate through the cosmos.

MUSICAL INTERLUDE:
Immerse yourself in the soothing melodies of live music inspired by Vedic traditions. Let the harmonious tunes elevate your spirit and create an atmosphere of serenity.

YANJA | SACRED FIRE CEREMONY:
Participate in the yajna, a sacred fire ceremony symbolizing purification and transformation. Witness the flames dance in rhythmic harmony, reflecting the cosmic order.

DRESS CODE
Preferably wear white clothing, if possible wear traditional Indian clothes.
You can wear silver or golden jewels.

BRING (Things to offer):
* Flowers, sweets
* Money: You can offer money to specific purposes (if you want you can bring them in)
* Intention & effort, premeditate about how you want to offer some of your time

NOTE ABOUT MENSTRUATION
As Menstruation in Vedic tradition is a moment to drawn inwards, reflect and connect to the element of water. A full-moon ceremony, especially the fire ceremony, is not (traditionally) suitable whilst having your period.
If you sign in for this event and your period will show up unexpected, we will refund your entrance fee. With that you will receive some Vedic guidelines to deepen your menstruation retreat.
