Over dit evenement
'The yoga of listening' is a co-creation of non-dual yoga meditation teacher and therapist Ellen Emmet (UK) and kirtan singer and artist Ganga Ma (NL).
Join us for this weekend in which we will be using gentle yoga asana, free movement, breath meditation, conversation and chanting as instruments in our exploration. A practice that is inspired by the tradition of Kashmir Shaivism, Advaita-Vedanta and Bhakti yoga.
"Drawn by our deepest longing, we gather in the invisible shrine.
At the door we leave our beliefs and our ideas.
We enter barefoot. We are open.
We are together in openness."
The art of listening is important in both Ellen and Ganga Ma's work.
Listening to the body, to the intelligence of Life, the natural movement, the sound that wants to move through.
Listening to the whole of experience with great openness, as the great openness, so that in this openness the true essence of all can reveal itself to us.
Inquiry through the body, inquiry through voice.
We look forward to welcoming you this weekend to practice and celebrate the Yoga of Listening.
