This is NOT a dive into sensuality from the perspective of the sexual - rather we approach your sensuality from a space of cultivating a deep connection to your body, and safety within your body.

Friday the 13th was originally a day for women to gather, and to worship the Goddess. Throughout time, however, this day has been rebranded as a day of 'bad luck'. For this reason, this unique Sensual Liberty gathering is going to be a Reclamation Special - let us take back our day of worship & sisterhood.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝑺𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝑳𝒊𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒚?

Sensual Liberty are Women’s Gatherings happening monthly in Amsterdam. These are spaces wherein we as women come together to connect deeply to ourselves in each other’s presence, and to then connect as a group through sharing.

Generally, a Sensual Liberty gathering takes the following format:

✨ arrival & drop in
✨ opening ritual & meditation
✨ guided sensual movement& touch practice (eyes closed - this is where we go deep)
✨ sharing circle
✨ closing

❗for this special edition, we're going to add another element of ritual, and réally work with the Goddess within. We're bringing her ín, and with us, on this special day.

Sensual Liberty is really born from a place of a desire for a safe space wherein we, as women, can explore the connection to our sensuality; our sensual connection to ourselves, and the expression thereof.

The main premise at the base of my work is that a deep & authentic sensual connection requires a deep connection to the body, and in order to connect to the body we first need to feel safe. As such, we approach sensuality from a very soft and gentle perspective.

During the evening, I will guide us into a visualisation to really drop into our bodies and the container. After this, I’ll guide a sensual movement & touch practice. This is done either blindfolded or with your eyes closed, as to warrant that you really stay with you - it’s not about what your movements look like, or what other women look like. We close the evening with a more traditional sharing circle.

What’s good for you to know is that there’s no touching of other body’s involved, nor is there any sexual touch involved. This is really about your deep connection to your own body.
