Sacred Blue Lotus Tea Ceremony with Handpan Sound Journey

We're excited to invite you for an ancient Blue Lotus Tea Ceremony and a Handpan Sound Journey on Sun, Apr 30from 11-13 at the beautiful yurt of Mahara in Amsterdam. This is specially for those who are interested to explore traditional and natural healing medicines, in a sacred ritual for connection, health benefits and soul with live music by DJ/Musician Leela. The theme of this ritual is around Blue Lotus Flower spirit around BALANCE and PEACE.

An ancient tea ceremony combined with sound and prayer. Drinking the majestic flower will rebalance the brain with it’s component: Nuciferine. From an energetic point of view, drinking with intention the lotus transforms/shifts the lower energy into higher, going from root to crown, resembling the natural growth of the flower. This is functional plant medicine (non-psychedelic) through a moderate and small amount, but you will be likely to feel the mild effect of heart-opening, relaxation and peace within.

For the mindful Tea Ceremony (‘Cha Dao’, the way of nature through tea), Leila will present blue lotus tea and guide you through a tea meditation that cultivates mindful process and fluid flow in a harmonious atmosphere that brings us together and improves our taste bud and senses, health and soul. This ancient way of appreciating tea and nature has been around for thousands of years originally from China as well as in Egyptian where blue lotus flowers are orginally from and appreciated. Tasty, fresh and healthy sweets will be paired with the tea to enhance the senses.

Handpan and other instrumental tunes by musician/DJ Leela will create a peaceful yet grounding atmosphere throughout and after the ceremony, taking you on an inner, meditative and sound journey. For especially those who seek to slow down your busy life and to be more present in the moments, this combination of Tea Ceremony, Blue Lotus and Live Music will be a great way to set a relaxing tune for the week ahead.

This combination evolved from exploring ancient practices, the passion for mindful living and expanding our consciousness through plant medicine.
