Touch & Ground by Liza

Liza is a warm and experienced facilitator who holds this (cuddle)space in a very pleasant way. Can highly recommend visiting the Cuddle Club, also if it is your first time going to an event like this (like me). If in doubt and you like cuddling, threat yourself to this. This safe, cozy and platonic evening was very nurturing for me. Looking forward to visit more cuddle events!

Liza’s cuddle group is so nurturing and such an accepting safe open space. She guides you to land in your body and speak your “no’s” first, and builds up towards a really lovely, often nonverbal, platonic cuddle puddle where consent is really key. Any feelings are welcome. It’s such a wild experience to breathe and hold space together like that, in a society where we’ve all grown so disconnected. For me a lot of grief came up for missing that in my life. And that was welcome, the feelings move through you while being held the way a mother might hold her crying child. It was really troostend. Afterwards I felt like I was floating. Not looking to my phone to fill a void. I felt like I was safer in the world, knowing I had practiced saying no to strangers. It even made it easier to say no to strangers petting my dog when she doesn’t want it. It has already transferred out to other areas of my life. I cannot recommend Liza’s cuddle puddle enough. Thank you Liza!

I had such a beautiful experience at Cuddle Club. From the moment I walked into the wonderfully cosy space, filled with soft fabrics, pillows and warmth, I felt completely at ease.
Liza brings such a lovely energy: caring, warm and grounded, with just the right amount of playfulness.
I really appreciated the way she guided us through the different exercises and gradually invited us into connection. Nothing felt forced or rushed; there was space to listen to yourself, explore and simply be.
The people who joined made the experience even more special. There was so much openness, softness and genuine human connection in the room, and I left feeling warm, grounded and very grateful.
An absolutely beautiful experience. Thank you, Liza, for creating and holding such a wonderful space❤️

Gaan!
Van het begin tot het einde van de workshop voelde ik me veilig en in een hele heldere, stevige bedding neergezet door Liza. Zij weet overduidelijk heel goed wat ze doet! Ze begeleide ons naar ontspanning in onszelf en vandaaruit tot consensueel contact met anderen. Mijn hoogtepunt tegen t einde was de ervaring van totale ontspanning, rust en vrede en verbinding (aka Liefde), waarbij de slotscène van de film As it is in heaven voorbij flitste 💗😇🦋. De uitleiding in gezamenlijke stilte en ook het afscheid ‘op onszelf’ weer naar huis te gaan waren een perfecte congruente afronding 🍀🙏🏻.. Liza, dank voor wat je neerzet, je missie en je belichaming ervan! ❤️

I enjoyed the experience, but there is space for improvement: The cuddling was overly structured, with an imposed "grid" which killed any spontaneity and that created a space that was too filled.

I loved it again to be here in this so loving and safe environment!! I felt myself overflowing of oxytocine! It was my third time to be here and it feels like I am making space in my agenda for it all the time. It is also so nice to see this grow and meet so many new and different people all the time. Ik was erbij op 13 juli namens Cuddlist, in het Free Hugs shirt :)

Ik vond het superfijn om dit te ervaren! Het is niet de eerste knuffelworkshop waar ik bij ben geweest, maar wel de enige met zo'n unieke, comfortabele kijk op cuddle puddles. Er werd een verwelkomende, zachte ruimte gecreërd, de aanwezigen waren zachtaardig en ik voelde me verbonden met iedereen die erbij was.

Mocht je het gevoel hebben dat je zachte nabijheid nodig hebt, dan zou ik deze workshop zeker aanraden :)

I really enjoyed this event, Liza was a great facilitator! I appreciated all the nervous system regulation exercises we did prior to the cuddle to really relax. Liza was patient, explained everything clearly, and really helped to create a safe space!

Wat een warm bad om in terecht te komen. Omdat ik al een tijdje overspannen ben leek het mij een goed idee om te gaan.
Zo zou mn zenuwstelsel tot rust komen.
Lisa creëert een hele veilige ruimte waardoor je makkelijk land.
En het resultaat? Ongelofelijk! Ik had niet verwacht dat mn zenuwstelsel in 1 klap zou ontspannen. Geweldig, alsof je net een sauna bezoek heb gehad. Wat een heerlijk gevoel.

I really really like the safe space of strict boundaries and keeping it all platonic! It is a really nice container to explore yourself and open up to love and connection in yourself and in the space with others! But within a very safe structure guided by the clearness and warmth of Liza! Love it! Thnx Cuddle Club! May many people join! x

I had such a beautiful experience at the Cuddle Club. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, safe, and gently held.

The exercises helped me drop into my body and let go of the day, and the way everything was guided with so much care made it easy to relax and trust the space.

The cuddle puddle was incredibly nourishing a feeling of warmth, connection, and pure human softness. I left with an open heart, a calm nervous system, and a big smile.
