Madhava is a living legend. I love his voice and his looks and his play and everything because I can feel this is the embodiment of bhakti. It is not an act or performance; I feel no ego involved. I love the different stages in each mantra; from very slow and meditative to very rhythmic and ecstatic. Instead of playing many songs and call it kirtan, with Madhava. you will chant two mantra's and dive really deep into it. The accompanying musicians were also great; very skilled and very much in service. I appreciated his talks very much. Kirtan is not meant to "feel good", to "open your heart", or to jump on the hype train or to make money. These benefits are possible side-effects. Kirtan is to serve the mantra and the mantra is not different from Krishna. When not directed to Krishna, you are using the mantra (so Krishna) for your own benefit. The blessings will never come to you. So better check your motivations. From his mouth this sounds so sincere and important. His typical "a little louder" helps me to give more of myself. And especially his cue "with love" reminded me, who I was directing my voice towards. It does make a difference. Madhava keeps me connected to the true meaning of kirtan.

I really enjoyed his way of teaching. Usually teachers sit in front of the group and explain but Madhava is walking around all the time to guide each participant individually. Which led to a very good result in a very short time. We were all able to support a kirtan with three rhythms. What I noticed that the kirtan afterwards, exactly the same rhythms were being used. It was very enjoyable and powerful. Although I have seen different manuals and live teachers on this subject, I am pretty sure that this teaching sticks with me so I will practice until I drop. I purchased a ticket for Kirtan with Madhava in Rotterdam and arrived at the address provided for the event.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find the venue. The address/location information provided did not lead me to an identifiable entrance or event space, and I spent time walking around the area trying to locate it. I ultimately had to leave without being able to attend the event.
As I travelled to Rotterdam specifically for the event and was unable to access it using the location information provided with my booking, I would like to request a full refund of my ticket.
Could you please arrange the refund through Hipsy and confirm when it has been processed?

Beautiful evening with amazing musicians and people creating a wonderful atmosphere to be joyful and feeling love and peace and happiness.
The dancing was infectious. I would love to return someday.

Ik heb het heel energie gevend en losmakend ervaren, met het ritme dat steeds sneller gaat kom je ik een heerlijke flow. Heerlijk gedanst en meegezongen. Hij is en heeft een fijne aanwezigheid en ontspannenheid.
Door de mantra’s voel je je een stuk vrijer in gedachten lichaam.

What a fantastic evening!!! Madhava had an incredible presence, but the community that attended really made the whole vibration so high, dancing and chanting mantras in the wonderful space that is BlueBirds Yoga and Debbie - waw! I would definitely go again!

I am absolutely sure that HG Madhava Prabhu’s kirtan session was ecstatic, pure as all of his kirtan sessions are, every single time. And I am so looking forward to this session on YouTube.
I could not be at the session in person, unfortunately, as I live in the the USA.
