Meet DJ Sefrijn

Sefrijn has his roots in Enschede and was also a DJ at Atak (now Metropool Enschede) for a while. Sefrijn is a musician, multidisciplinary artist, entrepreneur, and lover of silence. Ecstatic Dance has been his focus for 6 years, playing at many locations that this growing dance form has to offer, both in the Netherlands and abroad. His DJ sets always arise in the moment; the music is carefully chosen with diverse genres, emotions, and speeds.

Behind the decks, Sefrijn often dances vigorously himself: experiencing, feeling, embodying the music. As a classically trained pianist, he combines technical musical knowledge with a passion for intuitive improvisation. Expect world music mixed with electronica. Tribal vibes, booty shaking beats, hypnotic and shamanistic, playful acoustic.
