Erotic Presence Workshop + Eden Space 🌶🌶🌶

In our erotic presence workshop, we bring you into experiential and explorative space to investigate what's really going on in the mind, heart and body of another during a sexual interaction. Introducing you to uncovering and decoupling the taboo of talking during sex, this workshop is aimed at learning how to overcome awkwardness and loaded assumptions of sexual interactions to create safe and inspiring erotic space to explore and get kinky. In this second erotic presence workshop you will learn and develop the vocabulary to understand another’s erotic experience whilst bridging the gap between normative sexual practice and creative kink.

How often do you reflect and check in after a session with the people you play with? Or even start with reflection on desires and creating an exciting new experience together with someone? What if you could gain the ability to act within the moment, to meet someone's desires and wishes before they have passed, opening up to creative possibilities.

This practice of Erotic Presence takes you deeper into play and brings creativity to open up new directions. It is advantageous to investigate and explore another person’s experience within a given sexual interaction.

This Sunday we will explore and share our experiences during erotic exchanges; by slowing down, finding our words, and stripping away any narrative and assumptions that may exist either towards the person we are playing with or towards ourselves. We will practice exploring and inquiring into each other’s erotic experiences, and through this find deeper and more interesting avenues of play. This workshop will teach you how to build sexual tension and anticipation and bring in some of the more kink related play methods such as power dynamics and impact play.

Taking the energy of this workshop we will create an opening ritual leading us into free play - our “Eden Space”.

The evening ends at 23:00 with a closing circle and a collective goodbye.

*** For this workshop some experience in sex-positive spaces is very much recommended. You can either come alone, with a friend, partner or as part of a polycule, but please note that workshop exercises and games will switch partners up. Of course taking part is always optional and based on full consent. We will take some time to dive deeper into consent at the start of the evening. If you do come with someone you are responsible for each other. We strongly believe this adds to creating a safe space for all community members, which we hold a very high value to. ***

We are committed to our workshops being well held spaces that can welcome a diverse variety of people regardless of gender, colour, body and background. Therefore we take responsibility for rating each of our workshops according to their triggering possibility/’spicyness’ (look out for the chili symbols 🌶 = indicates mild content, 🌶🌶= medium/s*x positive content, 🌶🌶🌶 = intensely spicy content). It is up to participants to take responsibility for their well-being during workshops but we always create a safe space and have a member of the team available for those who need to sit out on certain games and exercises.

We have decided to call our sex-positive flow spaces the Eden Space: we stand within the realms of both a play space and a temple space. We believe in creating space for people to explore their sensuality and sexuality in a safe, welcoming and beautiful environment. This means there are always Space Holders available during the Eden Spaces and all facilitators are available too. Space-holders are there to check that all participants are in consensual play dynamics, or should anything come up have a duty of care to all involved in triaging and decompressing together.

FACILITATORS

*Nicole Caodie*

Many of you may have met Nicole, holding safe space and facilitating our Authentic Relating nights. However, this is not just her only fortay. Alongside being a qualified yoga teacher and coach, she travels far and wide, internally and externally on the winds of Eros. She feels honored that her playful creativity along with her experience and knowledge of healing through sexual encounters, has led her to support others on their erotic journey to discover their more of their authentic sexuality.

Nicole has been flowing in the sex positive scene, holding 6 handed massage workshops, erotic wheel of consent games, liquid love temples and facilitating power dynamics workshops and delving into BDSM practices for the last 12 years. Part of her biography has been doing a lot of womb work after sustaining a grade two triple prolapse and deeply believes and is highly sensitive to trauma awareness. Her own experiences, she feels, have been be the gateway to a deepened relationship to self and claiming her sexuality. She has a foundation in Mizan therapy and runs womb workshops and wrapping techniques. She is a devoted mother and holder of safe space as well as identifying as a queer pansexual.
