ABOUT THE SERIES

Practice breaking (social) rules with us in this monthly series! Our first few sessions will be focused on building a group foundation on consent, relationship repair work and community. Then we will continue with devoted sessions to practice living lives according to our values, and not the scripts, social rules and laws that society has imposed on us. We will implement all the tools in our arsenal, from queer theory to silly improv games to sensual touch to kink and BDSM sessions - with a fair warning of which night we'll be doing what!

For anyone questioning the scripts that society is feeding you and consciously choosing your own path. For those who realize that the way things are is an unacceptable way forward. For those whose existence is at odds with the world and are forging new paths to being, connecting, and loving each other. Come join!

ABOUT THIS EVENT

This is the first event! Everyone is welcome - no need to commit to the whole series right now. Come and get a feel for what we're trying to set up :) After introducing ourselves and what we want to do, we'll spend the day doing a workshop on the ideology of consent by Ella to set the groundwork for the series. The workshop will entail embodied exercises and group discussions, with some touch-based exercises weaved in towards the end. There will be lots of snacks and breaks. All of the exercises are invitations only - coming and taking a nap the whole day is also very welcome! After the workshop we'll share a potluck dinner together and then have an hour or so for some grounding, integration, cuddles, group discussions - whatever feels right in the moment :)

ABOUT US

Naima (they/she) is a big fan of alternative forms of connecting and relating, kink, bdsm and play. On her path Naima realised that all of this and identifying as queer is inherently connected with not living in the "norm". Therefore their dream is to build a community and space where we can be honest, fearless, fearfull, juicy, happy, sad, political, sexy and outside the norm together!

Ella (they/them) is a bubbly and radically kind intimacy activist and workshop facilitator. They have fine tuned their ability to create safety and space in their workshops so that the societal armor can be left at the door. They love to play with words and are able to convey complex critical theory in simple, easy to grasp language. Their humor allows for playful engagement with heavy topics while always holding space for the depth of emotions.

WHAT TO BRING

🪺 Nesting materials (such as pillows, blankets, stuffed animals...) to create a cozy environment!
🌱 loose, comfy clothes that allow you to move freely. Choose something that makes you feel good and doesn't take up a lot of your mindspace. If you're unsure about the vibe, feel free to bring extra clothes to change into if your mood shifts. Overall, we aim for a cute and friendly atmosphere :)
🍲 Vegan/vegetarian meal for the potluck - enough food to feed maybe 3 or 4 people. If we all bring something to share, we can all feast!

The location has some stairs at the entrance. We speak English, German, some Spanish, some Dutch, basic ISL (Irish Sign Language).


TICKET PRICES

If everyone buys a €40 'I want to come!!' ticket, the costs of the event will be covered and we get paid minimum wage (for the duration of the event itself).
If everyone buys a €55 'I love this work! keep it up!!' ticket, it covers the costs, can support low income tickets, and we can pay ourselves enough for this to be a sustainable job long-term.
We also offer €15 low income tickets and, if that is still too expensive, reach out for a free ticket in exchange for a (cash) donation at the event.
