➤ This event is a wonderful first play party to go to, ánd we recommend at least some experience in touch-centered workshops, like cuddle workshops, tantra, etc.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: THE ART OF PRESSURE PLAY
Pressure is one of the most overlooked tools for creating amazing pleasure. Whether you're giving a massage, cuddling on the couch, making out, enjoying kinky play, having sex, or simply holding someone you love, knowing how to use pressure can completely transform the experience.
This is a playful, hands-on workshop where you'll discover how pressure, pushing, pulling, squeezing, body weight, breath, and positioning can unlock entirely new kinds of sensation, connection, and pleasure.
Through demonstrations, guided exercises, and partner practice, Reid and Wilrieke will help you become more creative, confident, and skillful with one of the most powerful tools everybody already has: touch.
Throughout the day we'll explore:
- Pressure, pushing, pulling, and squeezing techniques
- Pelvic floor awareness and why it changes everything
- How to use your body weight instead of muscle strength
- Breath, rhythm, pacing, and timing
- Better ergonomics that save your body while increasing pleasure
- Reading body language and responding in real time
- How tiny changes in angle, pressure, and positioning create completely different sensations
- Ways these skills improve massage, cuddling, sensual touch, BDSM, oral sex, intercourse, energetic practices, and aftercare
You'll leave with more confidence in your hands and body, better communication through touch, and practical skills that improve massage, cuddling, intimacy, kink, and sex. Incredible touch isn't about memorizing techniques - it's about awareness.
Reid and Wilrieke will first demonstrate each concept, explaining not only what they're doing, but why it works. Then you'll practice with others.
Today's workshop prepares you for the evening's Pink Play Party, giving you practical tools, greater confidence, and new ways to communicate and explore.
ABOUT THE PLAY PARTY
The play party starts with a play party etiquette talk, with space for your questions. We slowly start the free flow with dancing and a few exercises, transitioning into a space where you design your own experience. The team is available for support and inspiration, or a chat.
This event is NOT for you if:
. you are not willing to accept another person's 'no'
. you lack experience in s-positive spaces and/or workshops on topics like tantra, kink, BDSM, cuddling, or other forms of intimacy. You should be comfortable (though absolutely not obliged to participate in - on the contrary) with unclothed people and explicit action in the space. (When in doubt, message Wilrieke to check if this is for you.)
. you cannot commit to our stance on inclusion: no racism, discrimination, misogyny, ableism, or body/sexuality/gender shaming is tolerated here.
. you are looking for easy sex. You won't find it here.
This is a PINK event: the afternoon is a fully clothed workshop. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move, kneel, stretch, and relax easily, such as yoga pants, leggings, or sportswear. For the play party, there is an underpants-on policy.
FOR WHO IS THIS EVENT?
This event welcomes folks from all walks of life. We are LGBTQIIA+ informed (Wilrieke and most of their team identify as such), slut-friendly, trauma-informed, and non-monogamy informed. White folks are overrepresented in our team and life experiences are colored through that lens; we do come from different social backgrounds and life experiences regarding health, wealth, neurodiversity, gender, sexual orientation, etc. We welcome people with specific needs as much as able-bodied folks - feel free to reach out to share these with us.
👋 ABOUT REID MIHALKO (USA)
Reid Mihalko (he/him) of ReidAboutSex.com is an internationally known sex and relationship educator helping adults become the change they want to see in the bedroom by creating more self-esteem, self-confidence, and greater health and accountability in their relationships and sex lives. Reid uses humor, personal stories, keen insight, and comprehensive sexual health information to change the lives of his audiences and clients.
In early 2018, some very brave people came forward during #MeToo sharing harms that Reid had caused them. Wilrieke Sophia (they/them) is a sex & intimacy educator, (TEDx) speaker, advisor & coach for creative makers and scientists, author, and founder of Exploring Deeper and Cuddle Workshops International.
Their work focuses on empowerment through self-knowledge, radical self-inclusion, the embodied experiencing of boundaries and desires, and an extensive practice of consent - grounded in trauma awareness and neuroscience, and embedded in experiential, interpersonal connective practices. They collaborate with artists and scientists, and work as a supervisor and mentor.
With their project Red Flags in Workshops, Wilrieke creates free materials on accountability, abuse, and power dynamics in the intimacy and wellness communities.

ACCESSIBILITY
This workshop space is called Awananda. The elevators in this building are out of order - the owner won't fix this, to our regret. There are stairs to enter the building. The ground floor has an all-access bathroom. The workshop is on the first floor, up two stairs. There are several bathrooms on the first floor (none all-access), and a small kitchen with a fridge and microwave. There are mattresses in the workshop space. There is no shower.
