PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS
Clarity, Boundaries, Agreements, and Repair for Exploring Sex with Multiple People
Exploring erotic connection with more than one person — together or separately — can be joyful, exciting, tender, awkward, and sometimes messy. That's not a failure.
Whether you're single, partnered, polyamorous, casually dating, opening up a relationship, curious about threesomes, or heading to play parties, there are skills that help everyone feel respected, informed, and cared for — including you. Chemistry is lovely, but clarity is sexy too. Learning the hard way through mistakes doesn't have to be your only path.
This class isn't about finding one "right" way to do non-monogamy, casual sex, group play, or open relationships. It's about becoming better prepared for the real humans involved.
Join sex and relationship educator (and proud polyamorous, queer slut of 25+ years) Reid Mihalko of ReidAboutSex.com for a warm, funny, no-shame evening of practical relationship skills — for more pleasure, more honesty, fewer emotional surprise grenades.
What This Class Is Really About
When exploring sex with multiple people, the exciting questions get most of the attention: Who might we meet? What might we try? Will this be hot? Fair enough. But some deeper questions make the experience better for everyone: What do I actually want? What am I available for: emotionally, practically, sexually? What are my boundaries, and what agreements do I need with existing partners? What happens if someone gets hurt, jealous, or confused and how do we repair when we didn't know what we didn't know?
This workshop builds the skills to answer those questions with more confidence and care.
In This Workshop, You Will Learn
- How to get clear on your own wants, needs, limits, and turn-ons before involving others
- The difference between a boundary, a request, a rule, an agreement, a preference, and an attempt to control someone
- How to make agreements clear enough to actually use in real life
- What single people should consider before playing with couples or moresomes
- What couples should discuss before inviting someone else into their sexual world
- How to talk about consent, testing, privacy, photos, overnights, and emotional aftercare
- How to recognize when an agreement needs more detail, flexibility, or a rethink
- How to prepare for jealousy or insecurity without treating it as proof that someone did something wrong
- How to spot problems early and run check-ins that build connection instead of feeling like interrogations
- How to respond when someone breaks an agreement or causes harm
- How to apologize, repair, and rebuild trust afterward
- Five essential skills for smoother multi-person sexual adventures, and how it all fits together so you can find your own authentic way of playing well with others
You'll leave with useful language, practical questions, and a clearer sense of how to create experiences that feel good in the moment - and the next day, the next week, and beyond.
Expect Real-Life Tools, Not Perfection
Nobody gets this perfect every time. Caring, thoughtful people still make mistakes, miss things, or realize too late a conversation was needed. The goal isn't zero mistakes; it's enough self-awareness, communication, and repair capacity that mistakes don't become disasters.
What to Expect
A lecture-style workshop with room for questions, sharing, and laughter, plus optional small-group conversations. You're never required to share anything personal - listening is participation too.
Who Is This For?
Curious singles, couples, and moresomes, people exploring ethical non-monogamy or open relationships, folks wanting healthier casual sex, those interested in threesomes or play parties, experienced non-monogamous people wanting a communication tune-up, and anyone wanting to be more prepared before inviting others into their sex life. All genders, orientations, bodies, identities, experience levels, and relationship styles are welcome.
Important Classroom Details
This workshop is fully clothed - no nudity, no sexual demonstrations, no pressure to disclose personal experiences. Bring your curiosity, your questions, and maybe a notebook for the "well, that would've been handy to know three relationships ago" moments.
