Intunity Heart Circle

We (Maurice Spees & Kasia Patzelt) are so excited to open our space for community to come together in circle.

Circle-work has been an integral part of our lives for years, in fact, it is what brought us together and helps our relationship to thrive on a daily basis.

We realise that in these times of chaos and not being able to make sense of all that is happening in the world, it is more essential than ever to create safe spaces to come together to express what is truly alive within us.

And Circle-work is the best way we know how to offer this to our community.

So what is circle-work?

As the name suggests, it is about coming together in circle with a set of agreements that create a safe container that allows for transformation to happen.

The agreements are simple: purpose, presence, authenticity, kindness, heart-direction.

When human hearts come together in that manner, magic is possible. It creates an amplified field that allows energy that has been longing to be felt, seen and expressed to finally move and uplift everyone present.

It’s a way to regulate our Nervous Systems, and feel the joy of what it’s like to be seen and felt in all our colours by others.

Even though (unless you have experienced circle-work) there is really no way of accurately explaining what it is, we could also say it’s a training ground for emotional intelligence and relational spirituality.

So many of us have been doing our inner work for years alone and are realising that there is a limit to how far we can go, unless we go it together.

It’s exactly that revelation that I (Kasia Patzelt) had in my first HeartIQ retreat in 2017: Oh my God! We so need each other! That makes me so passionate about this work and pushes me to bring this to as many people as possible.

And, one last note, this way of being together is really very different than ‘traditional’ sharing circles, which can be powerful in their own right.

The main difference is that our focus moves away from sharing stories towards the present moment and being with the question of: what is it like to be you in this moment?

Drawing on our experiences from HeartIQ, Authentic Relating, Circling and our roles as (trauma- informed) retreat facilitators over many years, we are eager to create a space for practice as well as exploration.
