The bar paradox: when I go out, I just want to spend time with my friends and then I wonder why I never meet anyone there…
And by focusing on becoming the best version of myself by reading books and doing a lot of sports, I rarely meet new people…
I was missing something. A place like one of those nights where you meet new people effortlessly because you just go with the flow and have fun! That’s why I sat down with my brother Pieter to create UpDate evenings.
We believe the best way to meet new people is to have fun and see each other in many different situations. That’s why our events are not just about talking, but you can expect many different activities. Playing little games, solving challenges as a team, and more!
Some activities are one-on-one, and some are done in small groups. Sometimes we provide the structure and sometimes you will be free to interact with whoever looks interesting to you at that moment.
