Peindre en Kura provides a transformative space where art, culture, and he- aling intersect. The workshops offer participants a chance to delve into in- trospection, harness their creativity, and experience the therapeutic power of art. These sessions emphasize cultural connection, community building, and self-expression, creating a nurturing environment for personal growth and healing. My mission is to foster inclusion, diversity, and a deeper con- nection to oneself and one’s roots through the creative process.
The approach focuses on intuitive, expressive painting rather than technical skills, ensuring that everyone can participate and benefit from the work- shops regardless of their prior experience with art.

“Peindre en Kura” translated as “Paint and Heal,” is a name chosen to honor my multicultural French, Dutch and Antillean heritage. Peindre (Fr) en (Nl) Kura (Cu). This blend of influences is a reccuring theme in my painting, serving as a way to connect with my roots, family and thus with myself. The name captures this Connection perfectly.

Wat een fijne energie bij binnenkomst al! Naarmate de avond vorderde werd het alleen maar nog fijner. Het voelde veilig genoeg om je verhaal te delen maar er werd ook lekker gelachen. Ook de samenwerking van Noni en Juliette was leuk om te zien en vulde elkaar goed aan!Hele mooie inzichten gekregen na deze avond en kom graag nog een keer terug. Thank you ladies!

De 2e keer dat ik deel heb genomen aan een Paint & .. workshop van Nomi. En ik kan het iedereen aanraden. Ze geeft op een hele fijne manier begeleiding, de sfeer is top en de thema’s (dit keer healing) komen op een creatieve manier aan bod. Erg verfrissend, speels en vooral heel fijn. Na afloop ben ik weer met een zelf gemaakte art piece naar huis gegaan. Me so happy :))).
