Paint & heal ancestral waters - The weight of gentle things

This workshop is inspired by the exhibition The Weight of Gentle Things and focuses on generational healing. Using the ocean as a metaphor for memory, connection, and the space in-between, participants are invited to explore their own stories through ancestry and/or their relationship to water.

Through guided journal prompts, intuitive card pulling, and the sharing of family stories participants reflect on what they carry from the past and what wants to move forward. These insights are then transformed into a personal painting, created from intuition rather than technique.
This is not a technical painting workshop. The focus is on reflection, intuition, and connecting with yourself/others and your stories through art.
