Seasonal fireside celebration - Lammas

Join us for a magical evening celebrating Lammas, the time between Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox. Traditionally on Lammas, or Lughnasadh, fires were lit to honour the Corn Mother as she gives birth to her harvest child, the Grain. This is the seed that will bring next year’s harvest as well as the grain that will sustain life throughout the winter.
Similarly, we will gather round a fire with stories, songs, poems and other sharings to say thanks for all the abundant energy of summer, to reflect on this year's harvest and to make time to rest.

What to Expect:

Nature Connection: We will take the time to connect to our own nature and the world around us, using a simple nature connection practice.

Fire Ceremony: We will gather around a communal fire, a symbol of warmth, light, and transformation.

Story Sharing: Bring a story, poem, or experience to share. This is a time for communal reflection, connection, and celebration of our journeys.

Community Weaving: Meet like-minded individuals, build connections, and enjoy the atmosphere.

Lammas Celebration: Engage in activities that honour Lammas, from singing to simple rituals that mark this significant time of the year.

What to Bring:

Comfortable clothing suitable for an evening outdoors.
A blanket or cushion to sit on.
Your favorite story, poem, or experience to share.
A reusable water bottle and any personal snacks you may want.

To help us plan the evening, please register for a ticket at least 1 week ahead of the event. The minimum group size is 5 people, and the maximum is 10. (You help us a lot by registering as early as possible.) The evening will be in English (unless all participants speak Dutch comfortably ;)
