Over dit evenement
Mindful tea ceremony
This event is a mindful experience based on the ancient bowl tea ceremony.
WHAT WE WILL DO
We will gather in a serene and peaceful setting, inviting you to slow down and focus on the present moment with the support of high grade ceremonial tea. The ceremony is held in silence and begins with preparing the tea, which is done with careful attention and intention.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE
You are invited to engage all your senses as you sip the tea, noticing its aroma, taste and texture. As we drink, we will practice letting go of any distractions or worries and simply be present with the tea and the surroundings. Through this practice, we cultivate a sense of calm and tranquillity and gain a deeper appreciation for the beauty and simplicity of everyday life.
FOR WHOM
For those who like to explore a different way of meditation, combined with the healing effect of ceremonial tea.
YOUR FACILITATOR
Niina Ratsep, MSc psychologist and zen coach.
Niina Ratsep discovered her passion for Zen early in life, immersing herself in Zen coaching, which she integrates with various therapy modalities in her psychology practice in The Hague. Her profound love for Zen and meditation led her to explore Cha Dao – the way of tea. Through the practice of sitting in meditation during tea ceremonies, Niina experienced the transformative benefits, prompting her to introduce tea ceremonies at an addiction rehab center in Thailand.
One undeniable aspect emerged from this experience – tea has the power to open hearts. Tea’s gentle nature allows for effortless integration and seeps into daily life of living more presently.
Niina now enjoys serving tea ceremonially, a profound yet simple practice of sitting in silence together, accompanied by the healing essence of tea.
Through this, she fosters connections with oneself, others, and nature.
