Over dit evenement
“The point of healthy food is that it supports us in existing the most lightly and energetically within the body. We take care of the body as a way of taking better care of the spirit.”
We invite you to become more conscious about what and how you consume. Join us for a unique dinner that will not only be about the literal form of consumption, but also about the spiritual side of consumption.
This dinner is not just about feeding your body but nourishing it. We'll explore the spiritual dimension of nutrition—how the energy or frequency of the food you consume energizes you. This is the core difference between merely feeding and truly nourishing.
What defines healthy food? It's not just about the nutritional content but also how the food is harvested, prepared, and served, as well as the environment in which it is consumed. Each of these aspects contributes to how much the food nourishes your body and spirit.
Julie Kers will prepare an entirely plant-based, organic meal from scratch. She will talk about the nutritional and frequency dimensions of food, and will lead a conversation between you and the other guests.
Hilario Robis, a Babaylan healer from the Philippines, will share his experience and insights derived from his Filipino shamanistic cultural background. His talk will complement our discussion on the philosophy and science behind different foods and how they affect our body and spirit, providing a deeper understanding and appreciation of the meals prepared.
Together, with our hands and mouths, we will explore the different flavors and textures of the different plants used. No alcohol will be served.
