Forest Bathing | Shinrin-yoku in riverforest of Amelisweerd (Utrecht)

You are welcome to experience a Forest Bathing or Shinrin-yoku session at the beautiful estate of Amelisweerd near Utrecht. This session will be in English.

Forest bathing guide Mirjam de Boer takes you on a sensory journey of discovery with room for awe and wonder. You will use your senses in a different way than you may be used to. This causes you to experience slowing down and stillness.

You share your experiences with the group in nice short sharing circles. This way you experience more connection with the nature around you. We conclude with a lovely tea ceremony with herbal tea and sweets.

Forest bathing or Shinrin-yoku was developed in Japan and contributes to relaxation, vitality, strengthening your immune system, creativity, meaning and a deeper personal connection with the nature around you.

We leave from the Veldkeuken restaurant and we walk no more than 1.5 kilometers. While walking, we stand still or sit near the trees. So bring a small mat. You will receive the other practical information after registration.
