Join us for a singing meditation session to liberate your authentic inner voice and connect to sacred silence.

Everything in the universe is vibration, from the smallest atom to the largest galaxy, to our thoughts and emotions. The ancients knew this. They believed that the universe was created by sound, and that everything in the universe was connected by vibrations. Sound and music were used to heal, to connect with the divine, and to manifest desires.

The throat chakra, also known as the Vishuddha chakra, is located at the base of the throat. It is associated with communication, expression, and truth. When in balance, we are able to communicate our thoughts and feelings clearly and honestly. However, if the throat chakra is blocked, we may experience difficulty expressing ourselves, and feel afraid to speak up or to share our true thoughts and feelings.

Singing is a powerful form of self-expression and healing that can help us connect with our emotions and divinity to find peace and inner calm. As we sing, we allow ourselves to be guided by the collective. We let go of our inhibitions and simply allow our voices to resonate as they should.

In this session, we will start with vocal exercises to warm up the vocal cords, and breathing and meditation techniques to connect with the self. We will eventually be guided to collectively sing the sacred syllable "Om" - the sound of the universe itself. "Om" is said to represent the three states of consciousness: waking, dreaming, and sleeping, and carries a high vibration that can uplift and transform our consciousness.

Your voice is your most sacred instrument. No singing experience is necessary. All you need is an open mind and a desire to create community through singing.
