Over dit evenement
A gentle, beginner-friendly workshop to help you understand the stress in your body and learn simple tools to let it go.
For the busy professional, the stretched-thin parent, and anyone who feels like life is moving too fast. If you're tired of spending your weekends recovering instead of living, this evening is for you. You'll leave feeling calmer, with simple practices you can use to bring that calm into everyday life.
🌿 Is this for you?
You might recognise yourself if you:
• overthink and find it hard to switch off
• carry tension in your shoulders, jaw or chest
• lie awake with a racing mind, or wake up unrested
• snap at the people you love, then feel guilty about it
• feel anxious before big meetings, events or conversations
• spend your weekends recovering instead of enjoying them
• never seem to have enough time to fully rest
• have a quiet inner knowing that life could feel slower
🌿 What we'll do together
Stress isn't just in your head. It lives in your body, and the body is also where we can release it.
In this introductory session, we'll explain how stress works in your nervous system in a simple, practical way. Then we'll guide you through gentle practices you can feel straight away:
• grounding while sitting on the floor
• guided visualisation
• vagus nerve exercises to help your body shift out of stress mode
• reflective journaling
No experience is needed. Just come as you are.
🌿 What you'll walk away with
• a calmer body and a quieter mind
• an understanding of what stress does in your body, and why
• simple practices you know how to use on your own, at your desk, before a big event or at bedtime
• more energy for your hobbies, your family and the things you care about
• a first step towards better sleep and less anxiety

With her scientific background, Diana brings a practical, down-to-earth approach to the nervous system: simple tools, clearly explained, that you can actually use in everyday life.

🌿 Please note
This workshop is an introduction to somatic tools for everyday stress. It isn't therapy, and it doesn't replace medical or psychological care. If you're dealing with severe anxiety or trauma, that deeper work is best done one-on-one, and you're welcome to reach out to us about it.
