Over dit evenement
How much of yourself have you learned to keep hidden just to feel safe?
The emotions you don't express, the conversations you avoid, the needs you minimize and the parts of yourself you've learned to protect because being vulnerable hasn't always felt safe. Over time, these ways of coping can become so automatic that we barely notice them anymore.
New Moon Restoration is a therapist-led wellbeing experience designed to help you slow down, reconnect with your body and create space for emotional reflection, restoration and new intentions.
On November 9, we meet under the New Moon in Scorpio, traditionally associated with emotional depth, trust, vulnerability and transformation.
Scorpio invites us to look beneath the surface of our everyday experiences and reflect on the patterns we carry into our relationships, our sense of safety and the way we relate to ourselves.
Our need for control can sometimes develop as a response to uncertainty or difficult experiences. We learn to anticipate, protect, manage and stay one step ahead. These responses may have helped us at one point in our lives, even when they eventually begin to limit our capacity for rest, connection and emotional openness.
With Mercury and Venus retrograde during this period, the astrological symbolism also turns towards revisiting old beliefs, relationship patterns and what we genuinely value.
This evening is an opportunity to explore what you may be ready to approach differently, without forcing yourself to revisit anything you're not ready for.
Through guided meditation, gentle nervous system practices and intentional reflection, we'll create space to reconnect with your body, recognize your emotional needs and consider what you would like to nurture in the next chapter.
During the experience, we'll work with:
- Ceremonial cacao for grounding and presence'
- Gentle breathwork and nervous system regulation practices
- Guided Scorpio New Moon meditation
- Emotional awareness and embodied reflection
- Journaling around trust, vulnerability and personal boundaries
- Intention setting for the new lunar cycle
- Space for rest, integration and reconnection
You don't need to understand every part of your past to begin creating a different relationship with yourself.
The experience is facilitated by Joanna N. Thomas, an Integrative Therapist with an MA in Psychology and Reiki Master & Teacher, bringing a background in mental health, trauma-informed practice and complementary wellbeing modalities into one carefully held experience.
