Celebrate Deepotsav 2026 on November 14, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the beautiful and historic building De Vermaning, located at Oude Boteringestraat 33, 9712 GD Groningen (https://doopsgezindengroningen.nl/)

Marking Diwali, India’s biggest festival of lights and a joyful celebration of new beginnings, this gathering embodies the timeless message of the triumph of good over evil and the radiance of brightness over darkness.

This IS A PURELY NON PROFIT event proudly designed to promote cultural integration and build vibrant bridges between Dutch, Indian, and all other international communities, warmly welcoming everyone living in Groningen to celebrate together.

This building is an architectural gem in the city center of Groningen, just 130 meters away from the University of Groningen's historic, Neo-Renaissance Academy Building (Academiegebouw). It has a capacity of over 200 people.

We are planning a beautifully curated evening featuring a vibrant multicultural program of music, classical and regional traditional dances, and live performances.

Enjoy a full-course meal included with your ticket!

✨ Explore a vibrant array of stalls featuring books, imitation jewellery, traditional Indian sweets, and engaging workshops. Immerse yourself in the festive spirit, celebrate with family and friends, and dance the night away with an electrifying open-floor DJ finale! 🪔💃🎶
