Ancient Pu'er Tea Ceremony with Handpan Sound Journey at Mahara Yurt

You are invited for an ancient medicine Pu'er Tea Ceremony and a lay-down Handpan Sound Journey on Sunday morning from 11-13 at the beautiful yurt of Mahara, in the middle of a peaceful garden in Amsterdam. This is specially for curious souls and those who are interested to explore traditional and natural healing medicines, in a sacred ritual for health benefits, deeper connection and self-healing with the sounds of handpan and nature by Musician Leela. The plant medicine is ancient Pu'er Tea from Old Tea Trees from Yunnan, China with lots of ancient wisdoms behind. The collective intention is to come, feel and experience as you are, to flow with the way of nature, and to integrate those wisdoms into a more mindful daily lifestyle.

For the mindful Tea Ceremony (‘Cha Dao’ 茶道, the way of nature through tea), Leila will present old Pu'er tea (in the traditional 'cake' shape) and guide you through a zen meditation that cultivates mindful process and fluid flow in a harmonious atmosphere that brings us together and improves our taste bud and senses, health and soul. This ancient way of appreciating tea and nature has been for thousands of years. Healthy, tasty and vegan sweets will be paired with the tea to enhance the senses and the mindful process.

Handpan and other instrumental tunes by musician/DJ Leela will create a peaceful yet grounding atmosphere throughout and after the ceremony, taking you on an inner, meditative and sound journey to dive in deeper.

This combination evolved from exploring ancient practices, the passion for mindful living and expanding our consciousness through plant medicine. We enjoy supporting each other and co-creating a healthy, mindful, creative and loving lifestyle. We will share Sunday together in a connected, safe and beautiful yurt space. Aftercare, support and integration to daily life will be shared and discussed as well.
