4-WEEK COURSE
Postnatal practices are designed to be accessible to all women from birth, including the baby, through body-based practices:
Centering and stabilizing at a time of intense transformation
Promoting self-nurture and expanding unconditional love for one’s baby.
Birthlight Postnatal yoga promotes optimum health using movement, balance and relaxation, allowing a mother’s body to recover from childbirth to its full potential. It offers safe and sound re-toning of the whole body over the first year, avoiding long-term problems of joint instability and hyper-mobility.
We start the course with the Postpartum Recovery Practices (handout included) and gradually build up to a more regular yoga practice over this 4-week course.
The course is with babies from 6 weeks to 9 months of age.
