Ivy (Inge) is a Dutch singer-songwriter who creates music filled with hope, comfort and stillness. Her vulnerable songs in both Dutch and English feel like a warm, soothing embrace.
For many years she organized healing song circles and frequent conscious dance events or workshops under the name of Mana Mana. Now and then with ceremonial cacao or season rituals.
She was also asked to do Ecstatic dance ceremonies in which she had her own unique style, weaving in a themes, mantra singing, spoken word, bodywork and ofcourse dance.
In the crazy lonely Corona period she initiated small gatherings for musicians and singers to stay connected by playing spontaniously (Spontaan Muziek Maken) The group growed and growed and by the time Corona had left the building, ‘Spontaan Muziek maken’ kept coming together now and then in ceremony with medicine music and ritual.
End of 2024 she decided to stop faciltating her own singing circles and dance events, to focus on her own music. As vurnerable songs straight from her heart started to come to her.
After playing a house concert, a couple of festivals (Healing Garden, Ecstatic Dance Festival) and her first co-creation song with singer-songwriter Derk de Geus (“Why we dance, july 2026) she is ready to share more of her own music with the world. Both by invitation or in a ceremonial setting.
