The voice is the bridge between our inner world and the outer world. It’s the primary way to connect and interact with the world, to express our emotions, desires and dreams. The voice transmits our personality and our history.
The way we express ourselves with sound and word is very much conditioned by the systems we were born into. What sounds are you allowed to make, how loud is your voice permitted to be? Who has the right to express themselves, to take up space? How much do we allow ourselves and others to be heard? Liberating the voice gives power back to this tremendous tool for self-healing. Diving in to this work is both expansive and subtle, deep and joyous.
In November, Elsa is offering a series of 2 workshops focused on working with the voice. The classes will include breathing techniques, nervous system regulation, embodiment practices, and traditional methods of song and sounding from all over the globe. She'll be joined by the incredible violinist Jiri from Japan.

No previous experience with voice work or singing is required! We always sing in the group, you will be held and never put on the spot.
It is highly recommended to participate in both sessions. If, for any reason, you are not able to, there will still be a lot to gain from only joining one.
