The Harmony Day Retreat - Ancient Tea Ceremony and Soul Fire Ritual

You are invited for a Yin/Yang Harmony Day Retreat on December 15 with Rita and LeilArts, in collaboration with Embodied Empowerment community - we will journey through a sacred SoulFire Ritual and an ancient Tea Ceremony with a water prayer, to help balance your natural elements, health and soul, in harmony with The Way of Nature.

Coming together around a sacred Fire is a great opportunity to pause and explore how you are doing and recognise what is alive in you. Transition and release what no longer serves and invite in what nourishes. We gather around the Fire to experience the power of transformation.

We will invite in the element and quality of Water (Ying) through the process of a tea ceremony - the feminine, the flow of life, the soft power and the effortless creation. Coming together around a sacred Fire (Yang) is also a great opportunity to pause and explore how you are doing and recognise what is alive in you. Transition and release what no longer serves and invite in what nourishes. We gather around the Fire to experience the power of transformation. In the Fire, Wood is transformed into heat allowing food to transform into nourishment, creating heat and light. Wood becomes ashes that in turn nourish new elements to grow and become.

TEA CEREMONY:

We will start from this mindful and ancient Tea Ceremony (‘Cha Tao/Dao’ 茶道, to experience Tao/the way of nature through the tea/medicine within yourselves), your host Leila will present specially selected high-quality Pu’er tea, and guide you through a meditation that cultivates mindful process and fluid flow in a harmonious atmosphere that connects us and improves our taste and senses, health and soul. We will close the ceremony with a collective prayer.

SOULFIRE RITUAL

- What is it in you that wants to grow and blossom? Become colourful and fruitful?
- Do you long to bring some warmth to parts of yourself? A relation that you have or would like to have? Work aspirations?
- Can you use some guidance to find your way back home to yourself?

- Sense the joy of pausing for yourself?

The Fire Ritual will be complemented with gentle exercises to ground ourselves and land in our bodies, becoming present in the moment. Welcome to the sacred energy of gathering in ritual. A SoulFire Ritual invites you to sacrifice what is still standing in the way between you and who you truly are. Around an intimate fire, we let ourselves be guided by a myth, singing mantras and expressing Svaha. This way we clean up our air and surroundings. Creating space for new perspectives and initiatives to arise. By offering flower petals and herbs you create an opening for your true self.

Being together in a Ritual with this SoulFire brings the connection with the Source and we remember who we truly are. We welcome you to create space to celebrate this moment of seasonal transition both within and without.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION:

☼ Ticket: €45 (We are also open to donation-based based on your financial situation and the value for you. We trust that they take into consideration the time and energy that we have given to acquiring, developing, and practicing our skills for hosting ceremonies)

☼ Location: in Amsterdam Zuid, and the exact location will be announced in the welcome email to be sent a few days before the event.

☼ Starting time: 12:00 (please arrive earlier)
☼ Closing time: 17:00 (feel free to stay around a bit after)
☼ Good to bring:
✓ Journal + pen
✓ Optional: dry stuff (herbs, teas etc), flowers
✓ Yoga clothing and warm socks / sweater
✓ LUNCH
✓ Clothing that fits the outside weather plus boots / shoes that can become muddy

Rita is a Fire Woman in heart and soul. Trained and initiated as a Fire Keeper and Priestess, she is touched by the power and beauty that rituals bring to our daily life. Leila: a life artist and events facilitator for plant medicine journeys, ancient tea ceremonies, intuitive arts and dance, as well as tantric bodywork. You can often find her facilitating intentional journeys and co-creating a safe and connected space for us to feel and unfold our gifts for awakening. She has dynamic backgrounds from both the East and West, bridging the Spirit and the Matter, the Light and the Dark, sharing her vision to exchange our gifts through co-creation, and integrating those ancient wisdom and profound experiences into a mindful and balanced daily lifestyle.
