ABOUT SHANTO
Musical mystic, visionary and inspiration for so many. When Shanto is not at the feet of his teacher, we mostly see him behind the turntables conveying his love for music. In his sets, he manages to weave a wide variety of genres into one to leave the dancer in a pleasant stupor.
Shanto was the first DJ who brought Ecstatic Dance to the Netherlands and made it a huge success at his Club Lite in Amsterdam. It triggered a dance wave far beyond the country's borders and can be experienced at more than 100 venues in the Netherlands alone. As a DJ, he has played in places as diverse as Barcelona, Moscow and Bali.
Shanto is also the organiser and DJ of Nataraj, the largest barefoot party in the Netherlands with which he has been travelling the country for 20 years. Its summer beach parties are legendary.

Muzikale mysticus, visionair en inspirator voor velen. Als hij niet aan de voeten van zijn leraar zit zien we hem vooral achter de draaitafels om zijn liefde voor muziek over te brengen. In zijn sets weet hij de meest uiteenlopende genres tot één geheel te verweven om de danser in een prettige verbijstering achter te laten.
In 2012 haalde hij Ecstatic Dance naar Nederland en maakte dit tot een enorm succes in zijn Club Lite in Amsterdam. Het bracht een dansgolf teweeg tot ver over de landsgrenzen en is alleen al in Nederland op meer dan 100 plekken te beleven. Als DJ heeft hij op de meest uiteenlopende plekken gedraaid zoals Barcelona, Moskou en Bali.
Shanto is tevens organisator en DJ van Nataraj, het grootste blote-voetenfeest in Nederland waarmee hij al 20 jaar het land doorreist. De zomerse strandfeesten zijn legendarisch!
