Na een bijzondere nazomeravond in september 2023, komen we dit jaar terug naar de Meditatietuin in Amsterdam. Op woensdagavond 19 juni zal Jacques Theron, een ervaren spiritueel leraar en ‘breathwork’ begeleider, je dieper kennis laten maken met ‘ademwerk’ en hoe een verbonden ademhaling je dagelijkse realiteit en vitaliteit kunnen veranderen. Jacques zal deze avond de techniek van ‘Ecstatic Breathwork’ introduceren.
CONSCIOUS BREATHWORK
‘Conscious Breathwork’ (Bewust Ademwerk) is een diepgaand transformatieproces. Het herstelt het evenwicht tussen de vijf elementen, de fundamentele bouwstenen in onze natuur waaruit alles is opgebouwd, en het verbetert daardoor op verschillende niveaus de kwaliteit van je leven. Het zelfgenezend vermogen krijgt de mogelijkheid om je lichaam & geest in balans te brengen.
De workshop is geschikt voor zowel deelnemers met ervaring in meditatie en ademwerk als voor beginners die meer willen leren over bewust ademwerk en dit willen ervaren. Kortom, iedereen is welkom.
De workshops worden gegeven in het Engels. Als het nodig is, is een Nederlandse vertaling mogelijk.
ECSTATIC BREATHWORK
Ecstatic Breathwork is een eenvoudige maar krachtige bewuste ademtechniek om in diepe trance te komen. Het is een combinatie van zeer eenvoudige methodes die helpen om blokkades op te heffen, ondersteund door sjamanistische rituelen. Door dit proces kunnen we in onze ware essentie stappen en genezing in ons leven brengen, terwijl we de wijsheid en het potentieel in onzelf doen ontwaken.
Het woord ‘ekstasis’ komt uit het Oudgrieks en betekent ‘buiten jezelf zijn/staan’. Het is ook ‘trance’ of ‘extase’ gaan betekenen. Wanneer we te veel in ons egoperspectief zitten,
kunnen we onszelf niet volledig zien en ook geen pure vreugde ervaren.
Dit ademwerkproces wordt begeleid door evocatieve muziek en sjamanistische rituelen om een veilige en heilige ruimte te creëren.
Ecstatic Breathwork brengt:
- diepe trance door muziek, beweging en intens ademwerk;
- een veranderde bewustzijnsstaat die je dichter bij het goddelijke en je inspiratie brengt;
- de vreugde en extase van het één zijn met jezelf en God/je (goddelijke) potentieel;
- ontspanning en balans tussen lichaam, geest, emotie en ziel.

OVER JACQUES THERON
Jacques Theron is sinds 1995 actief als ‘Breathwork Facilitator’ en is intensief getraind in het sjamanisme in Peru en Brazilië. Hij faciliteert regelmatig een 21-daagse pelgrimstocht langs de “Camino de Santiago” in Spanje, en geeft workshops in de VS, Brazilië, Europa, Australië en Zuid-Afrika.
In lijn met zijn passie voor mythologie en spiritualiteit, bedacht en illustreerde Jacques zowel het “Classical Mythology Deck” als “The Building Blocks of Tarot”.

In this workshop the powerfull technique of Ecstatic Breathwork will be introduced. Ecstatic Breathwork induces profound states of consciousness by a combination of very simple methods that helps to release blockages, and shamanic practices.
This workshop is suitable for participants with experience in meditation and breathwork, as well as for participants who are new and wants to learn and experience more about conscious breathwork and shamanism.

WHAT IS ECSTATIC BREATHWORK?
This simple yet powerful breathwork technique uses nothing more than the conscious breath to enter deep trance. Through this process, we can step into our true essence, bringing healing to our lives, while awakening the wisdom and potential that is within us.
The word “ekstasis” comes from the ancient Greek and means “to stand outside of oneself”. It has also come to mean ”rapture“ or ”ecstasy”. This may imply that when we are too embedded in our Ego perspective, we can neither see ourselves fully nor experience pure joy.
This breathwork process is accompanied by evocative music and shamanic practices in order to create a safe and sacred space.

About Jacques Theron
Jacques has been working as a Breathwork Facilitator since 1995 and has trained extensively in shamanism in Peru and Brazil. He regularly facilitates a 21-day walking pilgrimage along the “Camino de Santiago” in Spain, and runs workshops throughout the USA, Brazil, Europe, Australia and South Africa.
