What happens at an Innerdance session?
As a participant you'll lay down on a mat and might go into an inner subconscious world through sounds, music, frequencies, energy and touch where words often fall short. As the Life-1a website describes: “The innerdance can bring about regression into childhood memories, primal states, explorations of dream visions, emotional release, a journey into different dimensions of consciousness and most often, a recognition that something has been altered, a healing has occurred."

What is Innerdance?
This is a question that keeps popping up and can be answered in many ways and can be hard to put into words. The Innerdance also moves in the realm where words will hardly reach and might be experienced differently on every single encounter. The shortest answer would be energy. By experiencing her you can find out by yourself what Innerdance is and then you'll know for yourself on a deeper level.

The workshop will be provided by Mick & Zinzi.

Mick attended a facilitator training with the IDEA - Innerdance Europe Association in 2019 and an in-depth facilitator training in late 2022, co-hosted by Filipino founder Pi Villaraza. In recent years, Mick facilitated several Innerdance sessions in small circles, the next one being at the Endless Summer Festival.

Zinzi walks the Shamanic Inca path and facilitates Innerdance sessions as well as cacao ceremonies and healing sessions. She trained with Pi Villaraza, and co-facilitated a workshop with him and Mick in Summer 2023. Zinzi hosts ceremonies and sessions in various places in the Netherlands and Mozambique. She offers inclusive healing to decolonise, for marginalised communities in specific, who do not get direct access to these spaces in the Netherlands.

Preparation for session:
In principle, you don't have to do anything to prepare for the session. A few tips that might come in handy:
- Preferrably don't come with a full stomach.
- Wear comfy clothes.
- Bring a yoga mat and blanket if possible.
