An Invitation to Effortless Being
Rest and Sound is a 90-minute session weaving together gentle yoga, breath, and live intuitive music. Through slow, supported movement you are guided out of effort and into a state of ease - where body, breath, and mind begin to soften into spaciousness.
We begin by taking time to arrive in the shared space, becoming comfortable with ourselves, each other and setting an intention.
From here we move into gentle yoga, yin-inspired postures and conscious breath, that relaxes the nervous system and creates a sense of safety, openness and connection. The movement is supported by subtle music that helps you to be in the present moment.
As the body has shed layers of tension, the experience deepens into sound. While getting settled in stillness, an intuitive soundscape offers a space for relaxation and inner exploration through listening. The human voice is a living spectrum of vibration and has the ability to enter the different layers of our being. Being the primal instrument, the voice carries harmonics, breath, emotion and intention at the same time.
About us
Elizabete L. Sadauska is Latvian artist, musician, and transformation designer. Rooted in a background in academic singing, Elizabete’s practice explores sound, art, and spatial experience as tools for introspection, transformation, and healing. Particularly focusing on intuitive and devotional music traditions, long-form soundscapes, and the abilities of the human voice, Elizabete’s aim is to offer organic experiences that may help foster a deeper connection to oneself.
Davina Martley is a yoga teacher who graduated from the four-year yoga education at Samsara, rooted in the tradition of Advaita Vedanta. She teaches weekly Hatha yoga classes, guiding students towards rediscovering their true nature and a deeper sense of connection.
