Are you ready for an afternoon of movement, self-discovery, and authentic connection?
Join our Contact Beyond Contact (CBC) introduction workshop — a powerful practice where dance and movement become a pathway and tool to explore and transform our beliefs, our patterns and coping mechanisms. It’s a tool to give expression to our inner world, to discover our own unique dance, to feel empowered and free in our bodies and movements, and to learn a way of communication that goes beyond words.
In this introductory workshop, we will guide you through exercises where you’ll:
✨ Lead with clear intentions and listen with integrity
✨ Explore your patterns, believes and coping mechanisms
✨ Feel your “yes” and “no” and your inner boundaries in your body
✨ Communicate beyond words through movement and touch
✨ Experience a deeper freedom and connection — with yourself and others
This afternoon is not just about dance, but about connecting with yourself and others in playful, healing, and heart-opening ways.
If you feel called to go further, you’ll also have the opportunity to join our 2-part deepening series in on the 1st and the 8th of November. Together with a dedicated group, we’ll dive deeper into CBC and explore the themes support, resistance, letting go and passing through.
What is CBC?
Contact Beyond Contact is a dance and healing practice rooted in presence, authenticity, and embodied exploration. It weaves together principles of somatics, mindfulness and contact improvisation, guiding you into authentic connection — first with yourself, then with others.
Facilitators
🌸 Zeynep — Somatic Psychologist & CBC Level 2 facilitator, passionate about creating heart-centered spaces for authentic expression and healing through dance and somatic exploration.
🌸 Sanne — CBC Level 2 facilitator & Integrative Somatic Arts teacher, with a background in ecstatic and tantric dance, devoted to dance as a path of self-discovery and connection.
Together, we hold a warm and safe container where you can explore, play, and connect — no previous dance or CBC experience is needed.
Also if you have already experienced CBC before, this workshop is for you. Even if the exercises are familiar, there’s always something new to discover about yourself. Especially if you know the exercises, the focus shifts away from how to perform them and more towards the deeper experience of feeling and exploring. Each workshop also brings together different people, and every new interaction or dance with someone will bring out something different in you.

🎒What to bring / wear:
– Comfortable, layered clothing that allows you to move freely
– Socks (in case the ground is cold)

– A journal or notebook, if you’d like to write or reflect afterwards
– A snack for after the session (optional)
