ONE DAY CHOIR — YELLOW BY COLDPLAY 💛

Lets sing!
We’ll come together in the beautiful Bartkapel in The Hague for an evening of singing, connection and music-making.

Together, we’ll learn and sing Yellow by Coldplay, building the song from the first notes into a full, layered choral arrangement. Led by vocal teacher Leah Reina Uijterlinde, we’ll work through the song step by step, starting with a warm-up and gradually bringing the different vocal parts together.

There’s no fixed choir, no audition and no previous experience required. We’ll learn a lot of the music by ear, through singing, listening and repetition, so you don’t need to be able to read music to take part. Whether you’ve sung in choirs for years or mostly sing in the shower, you’re very welcome.

BEFORE THE EVENT

About a week beforehand, you’ll receive the sheet music for all vocal parts, together with practice tracks you can use to listen and sing along at home.
You don’t need to choose a vocal part in advance. We’ll explore the different parts together during the evening and find the one that feels most comfortable for your voice, while making sure we have a good balance across the choir.
And if you haven’t had time to practise beforehand, that’s completely fine — we’ll learn the music together on the night.

THE EVENING

18:30 — Doors open
18:45 — Start
21:30 — Finish

We’ll end the evening by singing Yellow all together from beginning to end and making a video recording of the result. There’s no audience and no performance — just a chance to experience all these voices coming together in this chapel with beautiful reverb!
