Ecocivilization: 2026 Schumacher Lecture by Jeremy Lent

Over dit evenement

Schumacher Lecture #4 - Ecocivilization: how to make a world that works for all, by Jeremy Lent

Join us for the fourth Schumacher lecture. This time our guest is Jeremy Lent, author and interdisciplinary thinker known for his work on the cultural roots of today’s ecological and societal crises, and how the dominant worldview shapes the future of humanity.

In his latest book, Ecocivilization, Jeremy Lent explores how to create a more ecological focused civilisation. How can we redesign things like housing, income, infrastructure, and agriculture to work together as a coherent whole, setting the conditions for all people to flourish?

This lecture is the 4th Schumacher Lecture, organised by Schumacher Action Labs, in collaboration with Symbiotic Shift and We are the Regeneration. After welcoming David Bollier in 2023, Helena Norberg-Hodge in 2024 and falling in love with the future together with Rob Hopkins last year, we are looking forward to continue the thread of how to imagine ánd take action to create a thriving world for all.
