Rediscover Your Sexual Roots
An embodied journey towards sexual wholeness

On our journey towards sexual maturity, we go through a process of development. From the moment of conception, we are shaped into who we are today.
When we have grown up in a healthy and supportive environment, the flow between the heart and the pelvis is open and effortless. Our three centres — head, heart and pelvis — are in balance.
In our connections with others, we are then able to make choices that are aligned with who we are at our core and in our authenticity.

But what happens when not all developmental stages were given enough space?
What if certain needs were not seen or met?
We may notice the effects of this later in life. Perhaps you experience tension in your body, difficulties with intimacy or sexuality, a persistent search for fulfilment, or recurring patterns that seem difficult to break. Our bodies carry both our original vitality and the ways in which we have adapted in order to feel safe.

In our society and upbringing, there is still relatively little space and knowledge to support a healthy and complete sexual development. Our parents often did not know any better either.
As a result, we may have had to suppress part of our original life force — our erotic flow.
In order to protect ourselves, we adapt and build layers over our original purity. This can show up as tension in the body and in the way we respond to our surroundings.

And yet, that innocence is still present in our bodies, just as all our adaptations and compensations are also held there. The earliest stages of life — conception, pregnancy, birth and the first years of life — are formative for our entire psychosexual development. They lay the foundation for how we experience our sexuality and enter into relationships as adults.

During this workshop, you will receive knowledge about how healthy psychosexual development unfolds. You will also have the opportunity to revisit missed developmental steps through embodied experiences, creating new, healthy imprints.

We work in a body-oriented way and assume that the unconscious contains information about your original blueprint. The gateway to accessing this information again is through the body. Through your body, you can create new imprints, allowing you to feel more nourished, grounded and whole.
The process is about releasing tension and accessing new information and nourishment.
In this way, head, heart and pelvis can come into greater balance.
This can create a sense of spaciousness and a freeing of your erotic flow.
In this way, you can rediscover yourself as an authentic sexual being.

The practices we will work with include:
Coming into the body through grounding, dance and interactive exercises
Systemic work, including working with ideal parents and resources
Theoretical foundations of psychosexual development
Emotional bodywork
Integration

Who We Are
Jessica Jobse
Jessica is a certified Heart & Sexuality Counselor and has been working as a tantra practitioner for more than ten years. She supports men, women and couples around intimacy, sexuality and body awareness.
Psychosexual development is central to her work. From birth onwards, we move through important developmental stages in which we need appropriate mirroring, support and guidance. When something is missing during these stages, themes around intimacy, sexuality and connection may emerge later in life. Jessica sees sexual energy as a natural life force that can flow freely when it is rooted in an alive pelvis, a feeling heart and clear awareness. For her, knowledge of psychosexual development provides an important foundation for bodywork.
By carefully listening to the signals of the body, space can arise to release tension and have new experiences that are not only understood intellectually, but also truly felt and integrated.

Renée Kruisdijk
Renée has been offering body-oriented sessions in Amsterdam and Amstelveen for more than twenty years. She is a Heart & Sexuality Counselor and works with Pelvic Release and other forms of bodywork. She is also a teacher within the Pelvic Release training programme.
In her work, connection with the body is central. Together, we explore tension, feelings and desires, so that you can learn to trust the wisdom of your body again.
She believes that, in our essence, we are pure and innocent sexual beings. Through adaptation and life experiences, the heart, body and sexuality can become disconnected from one another. She enjoys supporting people in restoring this connection, creating greater relaxation, authenticity and alignment.
In her work, she is caring, grounded, respectful and sensitive. She has learned to use her sensitivity as a strength, allowing her to attune subtly to what wants to emerge and develop in each moment.

Stefan Ziegler
Tantric healer and therapist, will be assisting us during the weekend. He is also a Heart & Sexuality Counselor and completed the training together with us. He lives in Hungary and speaks both English and Dutch.

Who Is This Weekend For?
This weekend is for you if you long for a deeper connection with yourself, your body and your sexuality. You are curious about how your early development may still influence the way you love, experience intimacy and enter into relationships.

You are welcome if you:
notice that you regularly adapt yourself to others or have difficulty sensing your own boundaries and desires;
long for more relaxation, vitality and fulfilment in your body and sexuality;
want to restore or deepen the connection between head, heart and pelvis;
want to better understand recurring patterns in your relationships;
are curious about psychosexual development and how bodywork can support this process.

This weekend is suitable for both singles and people in relationships. No previous experience with bodywork is required. We do ask for a willingness to explore yourself in an open and respectful way.
The weekend can also be a valuable opportunity for professionals who work in a body-oriented way to deepen their knowledge and practice. Psychosexual development will not only be explored theoretically, but also through direct experience and embodiment.
