Alchemy Ritual - Honoring our Ancestors

So many of us have little to no relationship with our ancestors.

We have been told to look back only for the pain and the trauma, to seek some sort of understanding of why life feels so heavy.

We have been stripped from the rituals and practices that allowed us to feel the resilience, the gifts, the guidance, and protection woven through our lineage.

This Alchemy Ritual is an invitation to feed your ancestors. Through a beautiful practice of energetic feeding, we are going to offer them the nourishment and acknowledgement that has been absent for generations.

We will re-establish a connection with the primal force that brought us to this life and the vast support that is available to us.

This ritual is based in ANIMISM.
Animism is the understanding that we exist in a vast web of relationships with everything that is here with us: animals, plants, rocks, trees, fungi, mountains, rivers, seasons, winds, storms, the sun, moon and stars. Our well-being depends on these relationships. Our call in these times is to remember this and find practices that support that remembrance.

This ritual doesn't follow a specific tradition since most of us come from broken lineages. Instead of drawing from indigenous practices from other places around the world, the call is to tune into this ecology, this land, these long-lost songs, and ask for that which still remembers to guide our way home.

We will gather, move, dance, offer, speak, listen to deepen our relationship with what makes us human.
