This September edition brings together Arabic literature, collaborative art, tattoo practice on synthetic skin, sensory exploration, shared food, open performances, books, handpan music, multidisciplinary performance, and conversations around maté.
Everyone is welcome. Maté Nacht is a drug-free and alcohol-free event.

🎨 13:30 – 17:00 | Open Atelier | One Colour, Many Hands | Ali Taifour
What can emerge when you stop searching for the perfect idea and simply begin?
Each participant chooses one colour and starts an individual artwork. After a short period, the works are passed on, allowing each person to respond to what someone else has created.
The Open Atelier also remains available for visitors who prefer to draw, paint, experiment independently, or simply observe and join at their own pace.
🖋️ 14:00 – 15:30 | Workshop | Flash Tattoo Night | G Almansour
Discover the creative and technical process behind tattoo art.
Choose from a selection of original flash designs and experiment with a tattoo machine on synthetic practice skin, exploring linework, control, movement, and technique.
G Almansour is a tattoo artist with a background in visual art, animation, and motion graphics.
No previous experience is required. No tattoos are performed on human skin.
👁️ 15:30 – 17:00 | Workshop | Experiencing the Senses | Silas Sitzler
Explore touch, sight, and balance in a playful and interactive way.
Through movement and sensory exercises, participants are invited to slow down, observe what happens, and bring more awareness to how different senses are used in everyday life.
Silas found his passion in physical movement as a way of self-discovery and a richer human experience.
Advance registration is required. Maximum 14 participants. Once the workshop begins, no new participants can join.
🫓 17:00 – 18:30 | Shared Table | Aida Kitchen
Take a seat and enjoy homemade Syrian and Lebanese dishes prepared by Aida Alayek of Aida Kitchen.
A warm moment to eat together, meet new people, and continue conversations in an open and relaxed atmosphere.
From 18:30, the Open Stage begins while visitors are welcome to continue eating and listening.
🎤 18:30 – 19:00 | Open Stage | Open Podium
Music, poetry, dance, spoken words, a personal story, or a short performance. If you would like to share something, this is your space.
The Open Podium is a judgement-free environment where finished work is not required.
Come with an idea, an experiment, or simply the courage to step forward and share.
🎶 19:00 – 19:30 | Book Talk & Handpan Music | The Dreamer: A Journey of Unbecoming | Akshay Modak
Akshay Modak presents his latest book, The Dreamer: A Journey of Unbecoming, alongside his expression through the handpan.
Over the past decade, Akshay has moved through many different roles and personas: a management graduate, banker, footballer, writer, musician, and more.
And yet, he describes himself as none of them, but as the essence underneath them all: a nameless, formless consciousness that transcends those roles.
Through his words, music, and self-expression, Akshay offers a quiet invitation for others to remember and express their own true nature.
🎭 19:45 – 20:00 | Performance | Untitled | Lex Hoogendam
What happens when you enter a performance without knowing what you are about to see?
Untitled is a short performance by multidisciplinary artist and dancer Lex Hoogendam, whose practice moves between visual art, dance, freestyle, hip-hop, improvisation, and performance.
The content remains deliberately unexplained.
Come, watch, and let the work reveal itself.
🧉 20:00 – 23:00 | Drinking Maté | Exchange of Inspiration
Close the evening together with maté, conversations, and spontaneous encounters.
Meet the artists, exchange thoughts, reflect on the day, or simply stay and listen.
An open space for connection, new stories, ideas, and collaborations that may emerge naturally.
