Indigenous Mapuche Hip-hop Performance - Likan Manque Cona

Over dit evenement

Join us for a live performance by Likan, an Indigenous Mapuche hip-hop artist visiting for a limited time from Chile!

Following a workshop by Chirok house (14-17h, free entry, registration required: https://luma.com/4dtrbd75 ) Likan will give a public performance (workshop attendance not necessary). After the performance ends, we hope you will stay and join us for a drink.

Originally from Santiago, Likan has been on a journey of self-discovery to reconnect with his roots and act as a bridge between worlds. Through a blending of modern and acoustic sounds, Spanish and Mapudungun languages, and focusing on themes of Mapuche resilience, Likan uses his music to address the politics, identity, and culture of his people.
