Teacher will be Carol McInerney from Ireland on invitation and in co-creation with Monika Körschner of Embodied Dance

All of us enter this world through the gateway of the female body, carried and birthed by the innate intelligence and life giving force of the womb. For thousands of years the grace and wisdom of the womb centre has been buried and suppressed. Modern culture moves many of us out of right relationship with our physical bodies, with our sensuality and with our sexuality as a sacred, natural and healing force. At this time on the planet we are all called to remember our true nature, to come home to a felt sense of safety & belonging within, with each other and with the earth we live upon. 
 
This residential retreat of movement, somatic dance and meditation for women and womb-bodied people is an opportunity for us to gather, move, rest and sit in circle together. Supported by the embodiment practices of Open Floor movement and the restorative wisdom of Womb Presence practices, we will enter the cave with curiosity and listen for what arises. In dance as meditation we meet the intelligence of the life force moving through us and offer it into motion; this opens doorways to our essential self and helps us to awaken and align with what matters most to us. With our feet planted on the earth, breath in the belly and an aligned mind we can make a choice for wholehearted, embodied living where we can express the full force of our creativity and be here now, in all our beauty.
 
This retreat is open to women & womb-bodied people at all stages of life and cycles and takes place in the natural surrounds of De Dieken, with delicious food, 3 night accommodation, 4 days practice and labyrinth walk included in the price.

(This Event will be taught in English in the first instance, with translations into Dutch if needed.

TEACHER Carol McInerney, Ireland
Carol is an accredited counsellor, movement therapist, Open Floor teacher and founder of Womb Presence® practice, drawing on 20 years of study and training in embodied movement and conscious dance meditation. Trained as a body worker and energy healer she brings these skills into her work to support us to embody our physical reality along with those of our heart/womb, mind and soul.
