Over dit evenement
Spend time outdoors in a way that is both educational and nourishing. This guided Medicine & Herbal Walk invites you to slow down, explore attentively, and learn directly from the living landscape around you. Nature becomes both teacher and meeting place — a space to sharpen your senses while reconnecting with the environment in a practical and grounded way.
You Will Learn & Experience
🌿 Recognise wild plants and herbs
You will learn how to notice distinguishing features of common local plants — their leaves, scents, shapes, and habitats — and begin building confidence in identifying them in the wild.
🍃 Understand plant uses
We explore traditional and everyday uses of plants, such as teas, flavours, and basic herbal applications. The focus is on practical, safe, and accessible knowledge you can remember and apply in daily life.
👀 Deepen observation and awareness
Through sensory exercises you regulate nervous system, sharpen listening and recognizing patterns. This strengthens concentration, memory, and presence while making time outdoors more vivid and meaningful.
Spending time learning directly from nature supports mental clarity, reduces stress, and builds a sense of confidence and familiarity outdoors. You develop practical knowledge you can return to on future walks, turning forests, parks, and paths into places that you can learn from. The experience combines gentle movement, fresh air, and focused attention — effective way to recharge while learning wisdom of the world.
No prior experience with plants, herbs, or foraging is needed — curiosity and openness are enough.
Who This Is For
Adults who enjoy being outdoors, are curious about plants and herbal knowledge, or simply wish to slow down and experience nature with more awareness and confidence.

🌿 About the Guide — Veronika
This gathering is guided by Veronika — mother, nature explorer, gardener, teacher, and facilitator. After a decade working in public advisory roles and sustainability, she chose to redirect her path toward hands-on, nature-based learning and regenerative ways of living.
In her daily life she explores questions such as:
How do I experience myself as part of nature? How can I support others in experiencing this too? How can my talents contribute to care for all forms of life?
Today, Veronika teaches in higher education programs focused on leadership and development, and she facilitates walks, learning sessions, moments of creativity, and — in the future — retreats. Her work creates spaces where people slow down, pay attention, and rediscover their relationship with the natural world.
She draws from practices rooted in Eastern traditions, including Buddhism, Taoism, and forest bathing. As a certified forest-bathing guide, she uses methods that cultivate sensory awareness and holistic perception. Insights arise naturally through direct experience.
Veronika is also an herbalist in training (Herbal Academy) and a member of the Lunar Living Sisterhood of Kirsty Gallagher, where she deepens her knowledge of plant wisdom, cyclical living, and natural rhythms.
