Join Yin Cha for a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony to celebrate the Lunar New Year. This exclusive event features a live Cello Performance in collaboration with music artist The Wong Janice. The evening is a deep sound journey where the ancient ritual of tea meets the profound sound of the cello.
This event focuses on closing 2025 and setting new year’s intentions for 2026 with a mindful tea ceremony and journaling to live cello music. In this immersive experience your senses are opened by the aroma and taste of the fine crafted Chinese teas while listening to the beautiful sounds of ambient cello music. You are invited to slow down, breathe deeply, and fully immerse yourself in the present moment.
You will be able to reflect on the year that has just gone by and set your intentions for the year ahead. Each cello and tea composition is designed to help you focus and think with clarity. By the end of the event, you will have completed a valuable reflection to close a cycle and you will feel more grounded, calm and confident with a positive outlook for the cycle ahead.

PRACTICAL
Please note that you can’t be late as the park will be closed.
· IMPORTANT: The park will be closed. We gather at 18:30 at the red bridge entrance of the Amstelpark. You will find this entrance across from the Shell gas station on Europa boulevard.
· You will be picked up at the Red Bridge as a group by a host from De Meditatietuin. After a beautiful walk in nature, we will have some time to settle in De Meditatietuin and the ceremony will take place from 19.00 - 21.30. We will leave the park together as a group through the Red bridge.
· We urge you to take ample time to arrive, especially if you don’t know this area or if the weather is bad, as this might increase your travel time.
· Bicycles must be parked outside the park.
· Wear comfortable clothes
· Bring an extra pair of socks and thermos/water bottle
· You will receive a worksheet with prompts and a pen
· Mattresses, yoga mats and meditation cushions will be provided
· This exclusive event is limited to 22 participants
